Earlier this month, the ProLoan and Banking network joined forces to celebrate Mother’s Day by helping other, less fortunate mothers.

The United Nations estimates that 300,000 women die annually during childbirth. That’s just over 800 women a day. Of these deaths, 99% can be prevented.

In just over 1 hour, we assembled 400 birthing kits for Birthing Kit Foundation Australia (BKFA). These kits will mean 800 lives will be less susceptible to life threatening infection.

A big thank you to everyone who donated their time. Without completed, assembled kits, BKFA would be unable to fulfill their mission of reducing infant and maternal mortality rates.
